What is Direct Primary Care?
We are a direct care pediatric clinic. Our membership model means that we have restored the physician-patient relationship. In return for a low monthly membership fee, you get more time with your pediatrician, more time to address your concerns, and a physician who is more concerned about your child than clicking boxes on a form so your insurance company covers the visit. By having a membership model, it allows me to have fewer patients. This means longer appointment times (30 and 60 minutes are standard) with you for each visit and same or next day appointments for urgent visits. It also means you have direct access via text, phone, or e-mail to your doctor. No more having to go to the ER or urgent care because you can’t get in to see your child’s doctor. No more having to see whichever doctor is available. Appointments are always with your own child’s pediatrician, every time. A board certified doctor who knows you and your child.
