Yes. I am board certified in general pediatrics and board certified in pediatric cardiology. I am also board eligible in obesity medicine.

Direct Primary Care is a membership-based model of medical care. The membership fee covers unlimited visits, plus 24/7 access to me directly — by text or phone call to my actual cell phone — for any and all concerns.

Yes. Even if you're not a DPC member, you can still see me for:

• Sick visits

• Pediatric cardiology visits

• Dizziness and syncope (fainting) visits

• Weight management visits

Yes. Starting in January 2026, a new provision in HR 1 allows DPC membership fees of up to $150 per month for individuals and $300 per month for families to be considered qualified medical expenses for HSA and FSA payments. Non-membership visits (such as the visit types listed above) are also generally HSA/FSA eligible as qualified medical expenses.

Unfortunately, due to Kentucky law 907 KAR 3:005, we are unable to accept patients who have Medicaid as their primary or secondary insurance. A strong pediatrician-parent partnership is built on shared health goals. Because I am deeply committed to protecting your child's health, families at Direct Pediatrics are expected to receive their school-required vaccinations, barring any medical exemptions. That being said, alternative vaccine schedules are always welcome! I would much rather work with you to get your child vaccinated on a different timeline than have them not receive their vaccines at all.

While vaccines like COVID and the flu remain completely up to your family's discretion, if your preference is to forgo the core school vaccines entirely, our practice may not be the best fit. We always want you to have a provider whose philosophy truly aligns with yours.
